CLIENT WHO WAS A FOREIGN TOURIST AND HAD TOO MUCH TO DRINK AND GOT INTO AN ALTERCATION SAW HIS CHARGES DISMISSED

A client who was visiting from another country was arrested after the police say he had too much to drink and got into a fight inside a restaurant.  The client allegedly was drunk and fought with the restaurant's manager, after they said that he tried to walk out on the bill.  The incident was captured on the store surveillance video and the client was arrested and charged with battery, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

After the client's release from jail, the client was understandably concerned about the arrest and the consequences from it.  Erick Cruz got to work on the case and began making discovery requests of the prosecutors to obtain the recordings from the restaurant as well as from the officer's body cameras.  After several requests were ignored, Erick complained to the judge.  The judge ordered the prosecutors to comply with their discovery obligations and set the case for trial.  At the trial hearing, the witnesses failed to appear and the prosecutors were forced to dismiss the charges.

During his time as a prosecutor, Erick Cruz attended trainings specifically dealing with the prosecutor's discovery obligations.  Erick knows the correct way to investigate and prosecute these cases and more importantly how to use the rules of discovery to his client's advantage.  Erick has used this knowledge to successfully defend countless people charged in connection with crimes.

Call Erick to discuss your case with him and find out how he can get your case dismissed, charges and sentence reduced and your arrest record sealed or expunged.
